Before mass production of general products, plastic parts will be produced in small batches in advance to test product performance and market demand. If it is a small batch production, the process is to choose the silicone molding vacuum casting, because this process is suitable for one-time molding of complex structure workpieces, effectively shortening the development time and saving research and development costs. Compared with 3D printing, the plastic prototype made by the vacuum casting are more durable.
The silicone molding vacuum casting service has another significant advantage, that is, 15-25 pieces of the same product can be made with a silicone mold. At the same time, the silicone compound mold material can be more selective, and it can be similar to ABS, PP, nylon, PMMA/PC transparent parts, soft rubber parts (40-90shord D), high temperature parts, fireproof and other materials.
The advantages are fast time, less cost, and less chance of processing failure. More than 15 pieces of the same product can be made with one silicone mold. The material of the product can be: ABS, PP, PC, PMMA, POM, high temperature resistant material, soft rubber, silicone rubber and so on.

Product production cycle is short
Only by providing the 3D CAD files of the parts to be made, the silicone rubber molds of the required products can be made in a few days or so, and the polyurethane plastic products can be poured using the silicone rubber molds. Compared with the production cycle (30-90 days) of traditional steel mold injection prototype parts, the time can be shortened by 90%.

The product is easy to demould
In traditional metal molds, it is usually necessary to set the draft angle so that the parts can be removed smoothly after forming, especially for parts with deep grooves. Because silicone rubber has good flexibility and elasticity, for parts with complex structures, fine patterns, no draft angles, and even deep grooves, the parts can be taken out directly after casting, without additional drafting angles. So as to simplify the mold design as much as possible.

Good product replication performance
Room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber has excellent simulation and extremely low shrinkage, which can reproduce the fine features of prototype parts without losing the dimensional accuracy of the parts. It is an excellent mold material.
