The silicone molding is used to make a silicone mold in a vacuum state by using the original template, and in the vacuum state, use PU, transparent PU, POM-like, ABS material for casting, so as to clone the same replica as the original template.

Small batches of silicone mold vacuum casting are one of the ways to make prototypes. The advantages of this processing method are fast time, low cost, and low processing failure rate. Using a silicone mold can make more than 20 identical products. Product materials can be ABS, PP, PC, PMMA, POM, high temperature resistant materials, soft rubber, silicone rubber and so on.

1 Use CNC, SLA, or mud sculpture to make the prototype and make the gate.

2 Surround the prototype with a board to prepare the mold.

3 Pour the liquid silicone rubber that has been evacuated with a vacuum machine into the mold to cover the product.

4 Put the mold in the oven to bake, so that the silicone mold will accelerate curing.

5 Take the prototype out of the mold.

6 Vacuum-feed and pour the material required by the product to reproduce the finished product.
